  When people are just spreading things that have been heavily marketed, they seem more like pawns than fans. Not that I’m saying people are thoughtless, but I never see music as a popularity contest… I hate mobs, and I’ve never believed that the most popular thing and the best thing ever correlate. I think that we’re losing something. Perhaps it’s the idea that music should challenge people a little bit, every now and then.

  got this in the mail recently. my obsession with this swarms remix is outrageous.  6blocc tune is a remix of zapp’s “more bounce to the ounce” that’s been around for a few years but it’s rad as well.

  i meant to post it about this when i was talking about my favorite stuff from 2011 but i got lazy.  but today is this album’s first birthday so it seems appropriate to listen to it again.  it is awesome.

  the vocals at around 2:35 always sound like huttese to me.
